Last Updated: June 2024
First, many thanks for visiting our Website. There is much talk of Big Data and gathering sensitive, personal information. Privacy is an issue that affects us all.
Also, we are one of the largest AI/ML labs in Europe focusing on human behavioral analytics. So we thought it might be reassuring if we describe how we use any data collected when you visit our site.
We have written this Privacy and Cookie Policy to set out briefly how zoral uses and protects any information you provide when you use our Website zorallabs.com or any associated Website.
By using this Website and submitting your information through various contact addresses, you consent to collecting, storing, and using your personal information according to this policy.
Please do not disclose any personal information of another person to us unless you have obtained this person's consent to both the disclosure and the processing of that personal information in accordance with this Policy.
If we collect or ask you for information, we will do so in accordance with this policy. We may update or amend the Privacy and Cookie Policy from time to time we will place any updates on the Website.
If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us as at compliance@zorallabs.com.
What information do we collect?
When you visit our Website, you may provide us with: (1) personally identifiable information that you knowingly choose to disclose, which is collected on an individual basis, and (2) general user information (e.g. our weblog data), which is collected on an aggregate basis as you browse the Website.
Personally identifiable information
We may ask for certain personal information from you, e.g. for content and/or services that you request. For example, in some cases, we may ask you to submit your name and/or business e-mail address, which we retain on file. We also request your name and business e-mail address each time you contact us by clicking on the "Contact Us" link. We may retain a record of users who have contacted us to respond to questions or concerns and for future communications.
How do we use the information we collect?
We use your personally identifiable information to provide you with the information or content you have requested and, in some cases, to contact you about our products, features or services. If you no longer wish to receive information from us, you may email us through our "Contact Us" link.
We use cookies collected on the Website in aggregate to help us understand your use of the Website and analyse its performance. For example, we may use this information to improve the design and content of our Website.
We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Our employees, agents, and contractors who have access to personally identifiable information are required to protect the information in a manner consistent with this Privacy and Cookie Policy.
We may provide access to your personally identifiable information when legally required to do so, to cooperate with police investigations or other legal proceedings, to protect against misuse or unauthorised use of our Website, to limit our legal liability and protect our rights, or to protect the rights and safety of visitors to this Website or the public. In those instances, the information is provided only for that limited purpose.
We will not share your personally identifiable information in ways unrelated to those described above without allowing you to opt out of such use.
We do not gather any of your information to sell it.
Opting out of receiving communications from us
If you no longer want to receive emails or information from us, you can unsubscribe by emailing us at compliance@zorallabs.com. However, it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our databases. In addition, please be aware that your ability to opt out of receiving marketing and promotional materials does not change our right to contact you regarding your use of our Website.

Protecting children's privacy is important. For that reason, we do not collect or maintain information on our Website from those we actually know are under the age of 13. We request that all visitors to our Website who are under 13 not disclose or provide any personally identifiable information. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete all his/her personally identifiable information from our records.
Data Retention and Security
We take reasonable steps to maintain the security of the personally identifiable information that we collect, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers, as well as using electronic security systems that guard against unauthorised access. However, no data transmission over the Internet or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, and any information provided by you it is at your own risk.
Your Personal information will not be kept for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the personal data was collected.
Notwithstanding the other provisions of this section, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data:
- to the extent that we are required to do so by law.
- if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and
- to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).
When the personal data we have collected is no longer required, we will securely delete it. We may process data for statistical purposes, but in such cases, the data will be anonymised.

About cookies and their usage
Our Website uses “cookies”. A cookie is a file containing a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and Website (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and stored by the browser. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so can carry information from one visit to the Website (or related site) to the next.
Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.
Web servers can use cookies to identify and track users as they navigate different pages on a Website and to identify users who return to the Website.
