Zoral Integration Exchange

Add a partner service once. Use it in every product.

Zoral Integration Exchange is a marketplace of ready connectors to partner services, from identity checks to credit bureaus. Your bank contracts with each provider directly. Your team tests each connector, then adds it to the workflows, credit rules and screens of the Zoral Finance Operating System (fOS).

Ready connections, added to your workflows and decisions

Zoral Integration Exchange works around the centre of Zoral fOS, with Zoral Core Orchestrator, Zoral Decision Engine and Zoral Portal Studio. Zoral Integration Gateway connects your own systems. Zoral Integration Exchange connects partner services.

The catalogue covers identity and AML checks, credit bureaus, alternative data, property valuation, accounting data, fraud tools and open banking. Zoral has built and tested each connection.

Partner data is recorded in Zoral Data Fabric, at the centre of Zoral fOS. Zoral Decision Engine can then use it in credit decisions for every product. Partners you already use can stay in place.

What changes for the bank

  • Fewer integration projects

Your team uses connections that already exist. A partner already in the catalogue does not need its own integration project.

  • Alternative data in your credit rules

Your credit team adds cash-flow, accounting and property data to its credit rules by configuration.

  • Controls on every connection

Each connection has access controls and a record of every call. Your vendor-risk team gets the facts it needs.

  • Tested before going live

Your team tries each new service in a test environment and checks the results before customers are affected.

  • One connection, every product

A connection set up for one product is ready for the next. Your products share the work of adding a partner.

How Zoral Integration Exchange works

A catalogue built for lending

Partner services that banks and lenders use: credit bureaus, identity checks, alternative data and financial data.

For your architects

  • Interfaces

Catalogue connections are available to Zoral fOS and to your own systems by REST APIs, WebSockets and Kafka events.

  • Data

Partner responses are recorded in Zoral Data Fabric, with a record of each call.

  • MCP connectors

The bank’s own AI agents, and AI for Zoral, can call partner services through MCP, under the permissions set in Zoral fOS.

  • Controls

Role-based access per connection, tokenisation of sensitive fields, usage limits per service and a record of every call.

  • Release

Each connection is set up in a test environment, then released through the same versioning and approval as any change.

  • The escape hatch

Services outside the catalogue connect through Zoral Integration Gateway by API, events or files.

  • Hosting

AWS or Azure in your chosen region, or your own data centre.

What banks use it for

  • Identity and AML checks

Identity verification, sanctions screening and politically exposed person checks at onboarding, each recorded with the application.

  • Alternative data for underwriting

Cash-flow analysis, invoice data and property values in your credit rules, so retail and SME lenders can approve more good applicants.

  • Fraud checks at onboarding

Face-match and fraud checks on onboarding screens, where regulation and customer consent allow.

  • New features in your app

Credit score trackers, financial health tools and links to wealth services, without a large development project.

  • New services around an older core

Partner services added around your core banking system. Your core and mainframe stay as they are.

What banks have done with it

References are available in confidence.

A regional bank entering new markets

The Challenge

Each new country needed connections to local identity checks and compliance registers. Building them one by one would have delayed launches.

The Solution

It added local checks from Zoral Integration Exchange to its existing onboarding workflows.

The Strategic Outcome

Customer verification became faster. The bank entered new regional markets sooner than planned.

A digital retail lender

The Challenge

Application fraud was rising, and long IT projects slowed every new fraud tool.

The Solution

It added fraud checks from Zoral Integration Exchange just before the credit scoring step.

The Strategic Outcome

Fraud losses at onboarding fell. New fraud tools went live sooner than a custom integration would have allowed.

Questions banks ask

Does Zoral certify the partners in the catalogue?

No. Zoral builds and tests the technical connection. Your bank still chooses each partner and applies its own vendor-risk and outsourcing reviews. Zoral gives your team the technical facts: what data is sent, where it goes and how each call is recorded.

We already have integration tools. Why add this?

Your tools can move data. The banking work remains: linking each service to credit rules, workflows, screens and audit, then keeping it working as partners change their services. Zoral Integration Exchange connections are already linked to Zoral fOS, and every call is recorded with the application it belongs to. Your engineers keep their own tools for everything else.

What if the service we need is not in the catalogue?

Your engineers, or Zoral, connect it through Zoral Integration Gateway. It then works with the same workflows, credit rules and controls. Partners you already use can stay in place.

How do AI agents use partner services?

AI agents call partner services through a standard interface (MCP). The AI is guardrailed, with human-in-the-loop supervision. Agents prepare, check and draft. They act only through the permissions, workflows and approvals your bank sets. Every action, prompt and tool call is recorded. Agents do not make credit decisions. Those follow rules and models your bank approves, and accountability stays with your bank. Your bank chooses its language models, and data stays within the environments and agreements it controls.

Who implements it?

Atelier, Zoral’s senior consulting practice, helps choose the data sources that improve decisions, and connects them with your team. The people who built the platform are part of every programme. See Data, AI & Automation, Credit risk and decisioning and Engineering and delivery.
